Manufacturing process

1. Selection of raw materials
Patricia de Nicolaï carefully selects raw materials, favoring the finest natural essences. This quest for quality, combining intuition and rigor, is the foundation of the house's olfactory excellence.

Formula development
In the secrecy of her Parisian laboratory, Patricia de Nicolaï composes each of the house's creations, driven by the demand for rare expertise and a passion for olfaction. Surrounded by three loyal assistants, she crafts jealously guarded formulas with absolute precision, embodying the very soul of Nicolaï.

Weighing of concentrates
Each concentrate is weighed to the drop, in strict accordance with the original formula. This precise gesture guarantees the olfactory fidelity of the perfume over time.

Maceration
The maceration of the concentrates, a crucial step, lasts two weeks under perfectly controlled temperature conditions. This resting time allows the fragrant material to reveal all its complexity.

Alcohol-based
The concentrates are then delicately blended with alcohol, according to a dosage expertly adjusted by the creator. A further maceration phase, lasting one to four weeks depending on the composition, allows the fragrance to round out and gain depth.

Packaging
Packaging is entrusted to the expert hands of artisans, respecting the highest quality standards. Bottles, pumps, caps, and labels come from the best manufacturers—mostly French—and are assembled with a constant demand for beauty and precision.

Hand wax seal - a unique signature
Each bottle receives the ultimate attention: a gold thread is delicately wrapped around the cap, then hand-sealed with a wax seal. This gesture, both simple and solemn, seals the Nicolaï imprint—that of an independent, free-spirited house deeply committed to the art of perfume.
